IT Hints & Tips There are far too many hints and tips to list here, however, as well as the ones I find most useful, I will also put links to other great sources of useful IT info.
Help The F1 key accesses help in most applications. If you type in the topic you need help with, a list will be displayed for you to choose from. Most people turn off the Office Assistant in Microsoft products as it can be very annoying, but you can always hide it as opposed to turning it off.
Shortcuts The CTRL key in Windows and Command (Apple) Key in Macs generally operate the same functions - see Shortcuts link (hover mouse over IT Hints & Tips link for drop down list). Most keyboard shortcuts work in other software too, so learning them will enable you to work quickly in almost every program you use.
